Our stay at the hotel was OK, but it was definitely not worth the price. We chose this hotel for its spa, which we couldn't use. We then received a 'voucher' to use the spa another time in the future if we come back to Paris. But we definitely don't plan on going back there in the first few years and the voucher says we have to use in within 1 year. We had multiple hotels that we liked, but we chose to pay more for this one to have the spa and didn't get to use it after all. Other than that, everything was fine but with room for improvement. We couldn't take a shower as that meant our whole bathroom got wet, so we could only use the bath. And there was no option for the towels to dry but on 1 hook and maybe on the chair next to the bed. The room and bathroom were really small, but maybe that's just Paris. Everything was very clean though and towels were replaced with cleaning. First floor on the side of the road: so much noise in the (late) evening! It was also way too hot in the room to sleep, we turned the heating off and set it on 16 degrees but it didn't do anything. Opening the window at night wasn't an option due to the noise from the traffic. Most of the staff was friendly, especially the girl that did the checkout. Didn't like the tone of the woman that checked us in and at breakfast they didn't even ask us if we wanted to drink something (and the only thing we could get ourselves was orange juice). Breakfast room was also very small, I can imagine that if more guests want to eat at the same time this will bring trouble. Especially with some staff running around very chaotic. We also paid in advance but still had to give a credit card number for something that apparently wasn't included in the payment, but we don't use credit cards and a debit card wasn't possible. Luckily we had some cash, because they asked us to give €100 in cash as a deposit! And if I hadn't asked myself, they would've let us go home without giving it back... We had an OK stay after all, but we will not come back and we're said because we wasted a lot of money on this.

The location, spa facility and overall decor of this small hotel led me to book it. I was delighted to find that the hotel exceeded my expectations in all respects, with attention to small details. The decor is fresh, contemporary and the whole hotel looks and feels really clean and well cared for with cheerful cleaning staff. Small notes of William Morris pattern around light switches are an example of the care that has gone into the interior design. The spa which I had all to myself for a slot felt new and again very pleasant as it is in the basement arches with exposed stonework. An exceptional point of this boutique hotel is the passionate cocktail mixologist Kevin whose passion for his subject is amazing and opened our eyes to some delicious recipes that he tailored just for us following discussion of our tastes (he can also make fantastic mocktails for those avoiding alcohol). Overall I can’t rate this hotel highly enough for the welcome and care that makes you feel truly like a guest and not a customer and we’ll definitely be back.

We have just come back from staying at Le Petit Beaumarchais and had the most wonderful time. The hotel was perfect for us in a fantastic location, small and boutique which made us feel special and most welcomed by your attentive and polite team. The rooms though quite small, offered extremely clean, comfortable surroundings and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and particularly restful after long days spent exploring Paris. Breakfast was plentiful and offered good choice with an excellent quality on offer, whilst we tried 3 restaurants for evening meals that were fantastic and recommended by the hotel which were delightful. The spa is a lovely bonus and we enjoyed relaxing on our last morning before we sadly had to leave. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our Paris experience and glad we chose this hotel & would highly recommend to others.

Only stayed one night but appreciated the professional and kind staff, the availability of food/beverage in the lounge, the large bathroom with rain shower, comfortable bedding and black out curtains, and next time, I'll try the spa area! The location is great...right near a metro stop and walking distance to many restaurants, sites, museums, and shops. Well lit, safe, and lively area.

Hotel is great, bedding in winter is not warm enough. It's a summer duvet on and on the 6th floor its cold. Also the both blinds in the room were broken. The one blind I could not even have open. I love the hotel but the bedding and not good pillows need addressing. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay! Excellent location with walking distance to many shops, restaurants and sights. The floatarium/sauna was a perfect way to end a long day of sightseeing. Will definitely stay here again!

On a cold and rainy November evening in Paris, the Spa Sauna and Flotarium (included in your stay) is the perfect remedy to warm and relax your body. I would highly recommend it, especially for colder months! The hotel and super charming and we fully enjoyed our stay.

Had such an amazing stay here for my first time in Paris, especially as a solo traveler. The staff was so welcoming, made me feel safe, and provided great recommendations. We loved our stay here. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable with everything we needed- lots of towels, robes and slippers. The toiletries were luxurious! The Petit Beaumarchais is placed a few steps from the Metro, so we could get around Paris very easily. The area is also great for exploring - and the hotel gave us a really handy map pointing out some great places to visit. We had a great time exploring Paris and the hotel helped make it so good. We didn’t have time to go to the spa but we will definitely be back to try it!

Absolutely not worth the value. For a family of 3, we didn’t even have an enclosed bathroom - as in shower opens directly to the room in front of the bed. This is extremely awkward. For that price, an enclosed bathroom is not too much to ask. Parents don’t want to shower in front of their children, and should this have been a friend’s trip, it would not have worked at all. If the hotel cannot accommodate as advertised, please give the refund to the guest so they can stay at a hotel that is suitable to their needs. Instead we were entrapped to stay here. We were offered a different room mid stay, but repacking and unpacking is disruptive and not the solution. We would have preferred to stay elsewhere from the start.

Truly a lovely stay. The room was surprisingly spacious, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the spa was a nice addition to the experience. One caveat I would add is that the hotel is on a busy road, so some road noise can be heard in the mornings. Other than that we really loved it!

We had a great stay at Le Petit. Room was bigger than we expected, as most hotel rooms in Europe are small. The staff was friendly. Location was great, and overall great value for money. Super easy access to metro and train. We'd highly recommend it to friends and family.

Rose was great upon check-in. Friendly, professional and offered good recommendations. Was concerned about noise due to busy street and area but windows in our bedroom did a remarkable job blocking noise. Bed was a real king and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Appreciated freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs, whole grain bread, good coffee. Bathroom toilet in room could use some updating (toilet seat did not fit toilet bowl) but otherwise property was pretty well-maintained. Central metros very accessible (just down the block) as well as cinema. Area is a little noisy and busy but hotel has done what it can to make it quieter. Nice staff!

This is a well run, well located small hotel. The staff are on the ball. The rooms are not large ... but this is Paris. It was a great plus to book a room with a terrace. And while we overlooked one of Paris' busier boulevards, the room was very quiet - good windows. Didn't like the bathroom/non-bathroom arrangement - the shower was, effectively, in the room while the basin + mirror actually were in the room. Breakfast was fine, except for the coffee ... but this is Paris. We didn't try all the options but the viennoiserie was abundant. The hotel isn't cheap ... but this is Paris. On the whole, it's reasonable value for money

The staff at this hotel were excellent. They assisted me in English with so many things that I needed, directions, advice and supplies, very top notch.

Probably my 15th stay at Le Petit Beaumarchais Hotel and it never fails to impress me. The first point to highlight is the team, they are fantastic group of people whos customer service is the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The rooms are fantastic and the bar and breakfast services are also very very good. Of course there are more luxurious hotels but if you want excellent service from a fantastic team at a very competitive price then you cannot beat this place! I can't wait to be back in January.

This hotel was amazing. The staff and customer service, were amazing. It's an intimate boutique hotel so not very big but the staff literally knew all of our names and our room numbers everytime we walked through the door. The location is also great. The only downside was the size of the room, but that's what we expected from most hotels in that area. This hotel was absolutely worth it because everyone on the staff went above and beyond.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed anywhere - let alone in Paris. Absolutely incredible location, so close to the greatest restaurants and shopping areas. Great location, lovely staff, great spa facilities and a nice overall ambience. But i'm afraid this was not good value for money. The price was clearly inflated due to the Olympic Games and I appreciate every hotel and accommodation did this, but I was very disappointed in the room size (no 502). There was no actual bathroom, just a shower and basin in the bedroom (separate WC), and we even had to leave our suitcase on the terrace as there was nowhere to put it without tripping over it the whole time. For nearly 2,000 Euro it was quite shocking. If it had been 1,000 Euro I would have enjoyed a much better feeling about the hotel because it was a nice place.

I was visiting Paris in July/August 2024 for the Olympics, and selected Le Petit Beaumarchais based on location, price, and overall ratings that I’d seen online. Having traveled extensively in Europe, this far exceeded my expectations for what a hotel for this location and price point would be. The hotel was clean, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the location was great - just steps from the métro with multiple lines available, very close to Place des Voges and the Marais with wonderful shopping and restaurants. The air conditioning made the room comfortable, and the hotel has an elevator as well. Traveling alone, I had the single room, which is perfect for 1, but would be tight for 2. A surprise on the top floor, the room had a distant view of the Eiffel Tower, where the sparkling lights can be seen on the hour each night.Perhaps the most pleasant surprise was the hotel spa. The hotel’s staff assisted me in booking both a spa session and a massage with ease, and I was so glad that I did. Both the sauna and “floatarium” were great, and I had the space to myself. To top it off, the massage was truly one of the best ones I’ve had in recent memory.I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Le Petit Beaumarchais on another trip to Paris!

We stayed at Hotel Beaumarchais two years ago for a family occasion, and we were very favorably impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Location is great. Rooms are small, but in line with Parisian hotels. Very clean. Staff was very accommodating and projected a feeling of wanting to help the guest. I don't find this very often, and it is a quality that a hotel should cherish and preserve. Location is exceptional of course.

My wife and I stayed for one night during a trip to Paris. We were dining at Restaurant H across the street, and this was the perfect location for that. We enjoyed the spa downstairs and only wished we had more time. The room so very clean and comfortable and the staff was happy to help with our bags and anything else we needed. The only flaw we noticed was very slow service when we ordered cocktails before leaving for dinner. It took 20 minutes to receive our drinks after ordering. Everything else about the hotel, we loved.

Nothing but positives to say about our stay. The room was fantastic, the kids especially loved their beds with the curtain to create their own personal space (a rarity when sharing hotel rooms as a family). The staff were excellent and so friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel created a really relaxing, luxury vibe, The location though is the chef's kiss. So much to see (and eat) within 15 minutes on foot. We enjoyed staying around the area in the evenings. The Metro station is right by the hotel too so there was that convenience too for the longer trips to the city landmarks. Would highly recommend a stay there (with or without kids).

We had a lovely 2 night stay in Paris and the hotel was excellent. The staff we very helpful and courteous and the rooms very comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a small well appointed hotel in a good location for visiting the sights.

Our stay was amazing. Hotel was in a great location away from the hustle and bustle. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel’s amenities and facilities. The only thing we did not enjoy was the bathroom shower. The shower head could not handle the strong water pressure which caused water to spray everywhere. The bathtub is also too high. Overall a great stay!

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the 11th Arrondissement, steps from the metro, wonderful dinning options and shopping. Quiet, comfortable and staff is friendly and helpful. The beds and bedding are extremely comfortable and the room has the right amount of amenities. The morning breakfast is served in the bar/cafe with a wonderful Parisian vibe. The spa is fantastic with a flotarium and sauna and you have it completely to yourself as it is reserved for you exclusively. An excellent beginning or ending to your day. The desk staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend.

Lovely little hotel, modern, stylish, simple and easy. Great location for mooching around Le Marais, a gig in Bastille and a walk along river (we did all that!). 15 mins from Gare Du Nord on the metro. Super easy and a change from the usual Paris districts.

A perfect hotel— room, spa and breakfast— on the edge of the Marais. The decor was anti-chain, and everyone forgave our bad French (most of the staff spoke better English than our French). I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is the perfect hotel for a stay in Paris, everything was great , spotlessly clean, wonderful staff and the rooms are so nicely decorated and comfortable. Very well located and the Metro outside the door, a very convenient supermarket and pharmacy across the street and many places to eat and drink close by. I would have no hesitation recommending this lovely hotel and will most certainly stay here again.

Great for exploring the Marais district on foot and even further afield all the way to the Louvre if you wish (Paris is for simply walking and getting lost in after all). The spa is a nice extra. The breakfast is good if limited for selection (maybe it's just the off season). Rooms are nice and comfortable, clean and all essential amenities provided.

The bed was good and comfortable. The bar serves very good cocktails and small appetizers (truffle Gouda cheese and Spanish dry sausage) for a nice pre-dinner “apéro”. The staff is very friendly and careful to meet our needs/demands. The breakfast is nice but the choice is rather limited. Though everything was good and fresh.

We really enjoyed our stay and it was great to be outside the centre, if you like walking then this is the perfect location. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff very friendly.The room was lovely all I would say is there isn't a lot of storage for clothes, not much hanging space and a lack of a full length mirror.We were able to get a late check-out for a small fee and the staff were super helpful when we required any assistance.

The room was small. No bedside table. The room, while clean, needs a bit of care (paint on floor). The sink plug didn’t work and was stuck down Only one teabag. I asked for more, and they left coffee. But it is the bar that is your big problem. I specifically asked, as I was returning from the opera, whether I could get food from the bar. I was told I could and the bar and small plates would be available until midnight. Your bar man had friends and was not particularly helpful. I asked for a croque monsieur at 11.30pm and was told the kitchen was closed. In fact I never got an explanation as to what time the kitchen closed. After speaking to the duty manager, I was told that they would do it. By that point I clearly did not want o eat anything prepared by the unhappy barman. Your managers (day and night) were excellent. I come to Paris about 4 x a year for the opera and art galleries. I stopped going to my last hotel because it was less convenient for the opera Bastille. You are very convenient and I would love for you to be my regular hotel l. But there are communication issues between the staff

Sebbene l'hotel sia in una zona trafficata, noi avevamo una stanza che affacciava sull'interno molto silenziosa - camera 306. Senza essere pretenzioso, questo hotel è comunque molto curato. Vicinissimo alla fermata della metro Bastille ed a Places de Vosges. Consiglio senz'altro questo albergo come soluzione pratica e piacevole.

This boutique hotel was quaint and charming. The staff was excellent. Great location. Nice breakfast. We were a party of 3 so the triple room is nice but a little tight, we did get upgraded to a quadruple room which we loved. Would come again for the warm and inviting staff.

I am so lucky to have found this gem in Paris, I keep returning here whenever I have to visit the city. A hotel from the times when you were treated as a valued guest from the moment you enter the lobby. The hotel is extremely thoughtfully designed, the rooms are very bright and comfortable and silent. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with an honest smile. I especially recommend trying to bar in the evening and allow for the bartender to show their creativity with a tailor-made cocktail based on your preferences. If you plan a visit to Paris this hotel is an excellent choice. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and a great location.

The front is most certainly the nicest part of the hotel, the rooms cannot keep up, specifically the decoration in the room we had was very poor, like in non-existent. There could also be something to hang a coat somewhere in the room, and the soap and shampoo (not particularly nice by the way, is handed out like if it were a very scarce commodity made of moon rock dust and spices brought back by Colombus. BUT, what really matters when visiting Paris, is the fact that the hotel is quite perfectly situated, with easy access to virtually everything, that the rooms are very clean, that the beds are very good, and that the staff is very, very friendly. No more to add.

I had a number of trips to Paris for the Rugby World Cup recently and I had a range of experiences. Now I understand the concept of 'petit'. The stay got off to a bad start whenI found human hairs on the lower sheet which did not look like it was a fresh sheet. I was also slow to realise that the bathroom widow had a shutter and consequently had one bad night's sleep. The big positive was the friendliness of the staff throughout the stay. I had a massage which was excellent.

For the price we paid it was not worth it. There was cockroach in my bed. Had to make several calls to just get water, tea, coffee and milk.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. When both of our phones were stolen on the metro the reception staff could not have been more helpful. It was a most unfortunate experience. The rooms however are very small but very clean

Excellent staff. Exceptionally helpful. The room was nice, but soooo tiny. Weird bathroom layout with the toilet in a separate closet. Common in France, but weird. Lots of traffic noise in the room. Maybe provide sound machines. Terrible food quality at breakfast. Change everything. Undrinkable coffee. Bad croissants…in France?

The bedding quality is very good and the location is perfect. Staff is friendly. The rooms are a little small but it's Paris... Also the "privatisation of the SPA" is not clear at all. Nobody welcome you at the SPA and you don't know if you are supposed to wait or not. Also, there are no towels there to use the sauna.

Le Petit Beaumarchais is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Paris. A very quick walk or metro-trip to all of Paris’ most beloved attractions. My husband and I chose this place to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. This was the first time we went away together without our 5 year old daughter. Communication with the hotel was really great before arriving. We were provided detailed information on how to get there and what to expect as well as a survey regarding any extras we may want. Here are the highlights of the hotel that really stood out. *Very romantic hotel with beautiful decor. *We were wished a happy anniversary with a card and BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers in our room when we arrived. *Float spa is amazing and was part of the package we booked. Don't skip this! *Staff at front desk were multilingual and really fun and kind. Made us feel at home. Went above and beyond to make our trip special. *Beds are very, very comfortable. So important after long travel and long sightseeing days on foot. *Amenities in the room were great. No need to pack a travel hairdryer, because this and anything else we needed was provided. *Breakfast was really good in the morning with attentive and friendly staff. Coffee was delicious!! * Everyone has different budgets, but this hotel was extremely affordable in my opinion, especially considering the 4 star experience.I'm sure that there is a lot more that I could say. Our stay was a trip of a lifetime for us, and the Hotel Petit Beaumarchais helped make this trip magical Thank you!

Overall great stay. Terrific location close to many amazing restaurants and close to metro stations. Bar was extremely cozy with helpful staff and amazing drinks. The float spa, which was included with the stay, was more relaxing than I was expecting. The room itself had a nice view and comfortable bed, no complaints there. Would stay again!

Very friendly staff, clean room, good place to go around in Paris

This is a mediocre hotel that was nothing special. There were homeless people sleeping right outside. The room was average with no view at all. The air conditioning worked but was not great. It was far away from most of the sites in Paris but at least it was close to a metro stop. It was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed in all throughout our travels and the most average hotel of everywhere we stayed. For the price, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at Le Petit Beaumarchais for three days, at the end of a two-week trip to France. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's located in the heart of the Bastille area was perfect for us -- we had access to so many restaurants, shopping, Metro, and the Coulee Vert. Our room was quiet and comfortable. And we had breakfast one morning at the hotel, which my kids loved because of the variety of foods, and I loved for the convenience. We had some travel needs that the hotel staff were glad to accommodate. We loved our stay in Paris and were so glad we booked here.

If you are looking for a hotel that reminds you of “Emily in Paris” this is the place to stay! It provides the parisien vibe being close to all amenities. The spa is a very unique experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Family of 4 with separate beds for our teens and air conditioning was a blessing to make this trip even more enjoyable! This was our first time to Europe and we were so glad we picked the PetitBeauMarchais!

I liked this petit hotel very much, its decor is very nice and warm. The people at the front desk were very kind. We had some drinks at the bar and the service was great. And the experience of the flotarium in the spa was amazing, we arrived late that day and this was just what we needed to relax from our trip. Wonderful experience.

For the positive points, hotel staff were very nice and helpful, the room was clean, air conditioning worked very well the bed linens are very nice quality and the location is excellent. However, how this is a four star hotel is not understandable: room decor is extremely plain; shower didn't work properly, leaked on the floor and smelled like sewer; makeup mirror was partially pulled out from the wall and light on it didn't work; coffee maker =hot water machine + instant, and dirty coffee mugs were left in the room the first day; common areas just ok. The room was nearly $400/night ---Although Paris is expensive, that price combined with what's described (and more) means we won't be staying here again.

This charming boutique hotel is a treasure from the past. The individualized personal,conceirge level of service, kindness of the staff, fabulous location and a spa out of this world that a guest can use alone is something to be experienced by anyone traveling to Paris. The rooms are immaculate and the linens are heavenly. I would high recommend this piece de resistance to families and/or solo travelers. As a 74 year old female I felt safe, secure and well cared for daily.

Very much enjoyed staying here. Its one of the best areas of Paris to stay if you are on holidays and the hotel is right next to two very useful Metro lines. Good to catch the Canal St martin boats also. Very good staff and a nice ambiance. PLUS, they met my room requests which is important for me. A good value hotel in a super place!

I decided to stay at Le Petit Beaumarchais as I was attending a performance at the Opera Bastille. I'm so pleased I did as it's a wonderful hotel. From check-in to returning the evening after, having left my bag there while I spent the day in Paris, nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic staff. My room (single) was on the 6th floor and rarely have I stayed in a quieter room, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. Bathroom amenities were the luxurious Nuxe brand, bathrobe and slippers were waiting, and complimentary mineral water was very welcome. I was particularly touched by the handwritten welcome note and the chocolate almonds. Breakfast was excellent, although slightly chaotic as there weren't any available tables on arrival meaning a wait till one became free and was cleaned. However, once seated an excellent cappuccino was brought quickly and I was able to help myself to the delicious, locally baked bread and pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and yogurt. Also, don't forget to book spa access - it's hard to believe that the hustle and bustle of the Bastille is going on above your head. I'm so glad that I discovered Le Petit Beaumarche and would not only heartfeltedly recommend it, but would stay there again like a shot.

I've travelled a lot and stayed in so many hotels but the attention to detail here made such a great impression. The location is great for strolling le Marais and Bastille, with super convenient access to the metro. Wish I could've stayed longer (like, forever) - gonna have to come back soon!

I love staying in the Marais and have stayed in several hotels in the area, and this is a place I would definitely stay again. The staff were helpful in their guidance around the strikes occurring in Paris. I booked a massage which was superlative and a time slot in the spa, and both the sauna and hypertonic salt pool were lovely, fully private and had shower facilities and water/tea. I wish I could have stayed longer--2-3 nights in the Marais is perfect! I went to 3 museums within walking distance, and did a bit of shopping and had lovely meals. Truly hard to go wrong in the neighborhood.

Above all, my favorite thing about this hotel was the amazing staff. They were warm and welcoming and they went above and beyond. The only reason I gave less than five stars for room decor / equipment is because there was a vibrating noise in the WC occasionally. Overall, it was a wonderful and charming stay and the location is perfect. I would definitely stay again!

This is a very nice hotel and spa right off the Place de La Bastille. The room was nice and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for exploring the Marais, l’Ile de France and most of the old Paris.

I found this hotel by chance and couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel is quaint, comfortable and extremely well maintained. The staff is courtious and professional. I'm already looking forward to my next stay in Paris, and am certain that I'll choose to stay here again.

strange room, booked a normal double was confirmed into a triple. Very strange room layout. Shower and sink in the middle of the room. no shelf or soap dish in the shower nowhere to put razor etc. requested face cloth none ever arrived. storage for clothes out in a vestibule, through a very heavy door that was impossible to keep open. getting clothes to get dressed undressed was very inconvenient as storage was logical dressing area were far apart. Limited mirrors for dressing etc. room cleaning schedule was erratic, mattress getting old. staff lovely, helpful and very pleasant. bar area was quite nice. recommendation, if you aren't going to put a coffee machine in each room then don't charge for coffee or tea in the common area it feels wrong, if it is staffing issue put industrial nespresso machine and make it self-service. room was well appointed, nice decor, but again a couple of random bath robes are not decor, build a closet/ buy a wardrobe, and put them in there and put the shower and sink behind a wall.

Room layout awkward shower was right next to the bed and I could barely walk between wall and bed. The hotel is on an extremely loud road and all night long all you could hear was cars and sirens of police cars and ambulances Which cannot be helped by the hotel but this should be alerted to guests prior to booking as it made for very little sleep. Otherwise cute little hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The decor is beautiful and tasteful, the room was comfortable and provided everything we needed. The floatation pool was such a wonderful experience and a real treat. The bar staff are very friendly and the drinks lovely…best mojito we’ve ever had. The only thing we would suggest in our room would be another mirror and some where to hang towels to dry.

I really enjoyed 1 night at Le Petit Beaumarchais, I would have liked to stay even longer. Very nice room and great breakfast. I didn't use the SPA as I didn't bring my bathing suit, but it looked very nice as well. Highly recomended!

Family members had a trip to France planned, which I joined after they had made Paris reservations. There wasn't room for me at their location, but The Petit Beaumarchais was right across the street, which is why I chose it. The hotel is charming, Very close to the metro, and had everything I needed. I was particularly impressed by the staff. I had a couple of requests before my arrival, and they were very helpful. I also had conversations with several staff members, and they filled my requests, gave good advice, and were always friendly and cheerful. They also followed up on a special request, when they weren't sure whether it had been fulfilled as planned. This was some thing they didn't need to do, but I appreciated it. I would definitely recommend them. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Came to visit our granddaughter who is a student in Paris at the moment. Hotel is very convenient for the Bastille Opera which we visited and the Marais district which is lovely. Although the weather changed the day we arrived and it became chilly and wet, we enjoyed our stay very much. The cost for the two of us for two nights including breakfast totalled 793 euros. I don't know how this compares with others but we were happy as they changed our original booking a month earlier without charge when my husband contracted Covid immediately prior to our trip. Staff there are very pleasant and helpful.

Well located by Place de la Bastille and close to Marais, this little gem has a delightful spa in a wonderful underground Parisian cellar. The rooms are compact but extremely well equipped and the bar and breakfast area offer everything you need to start or finish your day. Unless you want the views over the rooftops ask for a chambre cote cour as the Blvd Beaumarchais is a busy street.

We loved our stay! The hotel is lovely and quaint and the staff was very attentive and helpful. The bed was so comfortable, the room was spotless, and quite quiet despite the busy street below. Our only suggestion would be some minor alterations to the bathroom...a shower curtain for some privacy and to prevent water from getting everywhere and more hooks for towels and robes. We loved the lounge/bar area and enjoyed a lovely breakfast every day and especially enjoyed relaxing over a cocktail in the evening, watching the world go by. We would definitely return and definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Perfect hotel for our girls trip! We needed 3 individual beds which is hard to come by in Europe. The hotel is absolutely charming! Great location to many things including shopping, great restaurants and a metro stop. The breakfast was wonderful and the petit bar was so cute and the best drinks! The floatarium was such a nice addition- great way to relax in the evening. We felt we got everything we needed and more for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend this hotel- very kind and accommodating staff!

The hotel staff made our stay the best possible. We received early check in and proceeded to enjoy our first day in Paris. We had a triple room and it was small but very comfortable. Great single beds and linen. The hotel is 1/2 block from the subway. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee excellent. The staff at the desk could not be more helpful and friendly and the bartender made excellent cocktails. I highly recommend!

We decided to stay here as the reviews were so good and because the Bastille area looked very interesting and is near the islands. Our room was very comfortable, and the service and breakfast both very good. The Bastille area is lovely, with some great cafes (recommend Cafe Hugo). If we’re ever back in Paris we’d certainly stay here again.

Loved the hotel. Staff was friendly and the hotel perfectly small and intimate. Beds were comfy and the room surprisingly spacy compaired to Paris standards. Great bistros and shops within walking distance and metro just outside the hotel. The spa was an extra bonus. The only complaint is the traffic on the busy street outside 24/7. Our window was not closing properly, so the noise from the street at night was loud. Earplugs recommeded for light sleepers! My friend and I were offered free breakfast of the morning of my birthday, which was a nice gesture.

Excellent hotel in all aspects. I shared hotel information with others on my travels. My only complaint is that there was a heavy smoker im the courtyard and the smole/smell would come into room. But them again this is Europe and smoking is quite pervasive.

The young lady in charge of breakfast was delightful and cheerfully greeted us with a perfect Cappuccino. The hotel is beautifully decorated and feels like an oasis in the midst of the city. One of the few places I know in Paris to provide a warm, cozy, feel-at-home vibe. Having a floatarium underground is amazing, seems like a Roman bath. Really friendly and profesional service. The hotel is magnetic, we got pulled to get back even several times a day. And the location is perfect to wander in differente arrondisements like 3, 4, 6, 7 and 11. The recommendations in the map we received at the hotel were great for us.

It was our first time at Marais (used to stay in Saint Germain) and we were surprised by the hospitality, service, decoration and location of Petit Beaumarchais. The hotel has become our first choice in the city for all the next visits. Highly recommended

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located close to the metro in a charming neighborhood. The 45 minutes of spa time were a lovely treat. Definitely recommend taking advantage of booking a massage while there, it was perfect after a day of nonstop walking and exploring. Would love to return!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay. Nice and professional staff in the reception and bar. If you stay here don’t miss the spa and I suggest that you also book a massage even though the later is a bit expensive. Only thing to complain about is that it was difficult to dry towels from day to day and the they were not changed even when left on the floor.

I loved this place and it’s decor! I hope to stay here again. The only little things I’d say is that the digital clock is really bright at night (so bring an eye mask). Also, if you use the sauna alone, what if you pass out? (It’s a bit far away from everything else). But this hotel is so clean, cute, and great location!

This is a charming hotel well located very close to Bastille. The staff was agreeable, the hotel was clean and I particularly appreciated the private access to the spa section. I also had an excellent massage - one of the best I had to be honest. I was however disappointed with the breakfast - bad coffee, very limited choice, almond milk passed date and not so helpful and agreeable staff (vs at check in and the bar in the evening where everything was perfect). I would definitely recommend for a relaxing couple of nights (but skip breakfast!)

Overall nice little hotel in a very central location literally by the Bastille square and tube station. Staff was friendly but room was very small except the bed which was large and comfortable. Room was not ready when we arrived at 12 noon and although they only guarantee the room at 2pm, I always find it annoying when this happens especially since check out is at 12. We had breakfast there which was good quality albeit in a very small space (self service / buffet except for coffee). Swimming pool and really just a pool (too small to swim). Overall, this is a nice well located small hotel and was perfectly fine for one night. I don’t know if I would feel the same for a longer stay given the size of the room.

Wonderful but too brief stay. The hotel was a home away from home, a respite in a busy city.

We stayed from a Friday to Monday and everything was perfect. Great location, great price compared to other hotels in the city for the weekend that we went, friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable air conditioned room, great food and drinks.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Beaumarche Hotel. The name reflects the space: petit. Our room was small but very clean and accommodating. It met our needs perfectly. The staff was highly professional, friendly and extremely helpful. We are from the United States and while we tried to use the small bit of French language that we learned prior to travel, the staff accommodated kindly and spoke with us in proficient English (in a very friendly and approachable manner). My only mild issue is that the bedding - the comforter on the bed - was too thick and warm. It was very hot in Paris at that time we visited and the room air conditioning was very effective. But I found that I had a choice to either be too hot under the covers, or too cold in the air conditioning if I removed the covers from relief from the heat. We did adjust the thermostat, but were unable to effectively resolve this issue. However, this was a minor concern during what was otherwise an outstanding stay at the hotel, which we recommend highly to others. I would stay there again, no question.

I loved everything about this hotel. My safe did not work the day I checked in so I called the reception for help and I also asked for an iron and a sewing kit and I left the room. When I came back I found a new safe and an iron and ironing board and a sewing kit waiting for me in the room. That was sooo nice and showed professionalism and caring. The location is excellent, 1 min walking from the Bastille station. The hotel is kind in the middle between the Bastille and La Marais I did not like the Bastille area it’s a bit creepy but La Marais is so nice. I was missing in the room a mini bar though and a kettle, if they add them to the room it would be a huge plus. You get a 45 min spa time for yourself along with the reservation and I was sooooo relaxing and sooo nice. The staff was so nice and welcoming and the bar man was very kind and that was the most important thing for me. Highly recommend hotel and believe me, I am a Virgo and so hard to please lol :-)

We loved everyhting about our stay- everything was perfect. The only suggestion I have is to vacuum the AC vents on the wall. The one in our room was very dusty and I began to have allergies.

We had a brilliant stay in this gorgeous hotel. Everything from check-in right through was perfect. We stayed in a Quadruple room which was incredibly well laid out for our family. The only small issue we had was that the shower tray did not contain the water and so we had to place towels on the floor to catch the water when showering. Breakfast was great, plenty of selection to keep all family members happy. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and all staff members we met were really friendly and professional, and all really kind to our kids. Merci!

We had a good time at Le Petit Beaumarchais Hotel and Spa. Everyone was courteous and the spa and floatarium were very much enjoyable after a long day of walk! The quadruple room was quite spacious and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was well furnished. We had the best cappuccino from our entire stay. Everything is well organized and the use of each square inch is maximized. Well done!

The hotel was great. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. They really did make a great effort to make our stay more enjoyable. The hotel has also been renovated to a high standard. The bar is very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was also nice to have at the hotel. I would just caution that the rooms are small/bijou but very functional and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. It was very convenient for us to interact with the staff and their ability to speak English, as our French is not good, was so very helpful. The staff was kind, happy, unique in style and approachability. We hope to return again.

L'hotel est situé en plein coeur de Bastille, à 2 pas du métro. La chambre est propre et convivial et, la literie est confortable. Le personnel est compétent, accueillant et chalheureux. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et de qualité. Nous avons eu l'occasion de goûter un excellent cocktail original au bar, ils étaient délicieux ! Le spa est très chalheureux avec un accès privatif pendant 45 minutes. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Merci !

This hotel are the best my boyfriend and i, have ever lived in. So authentic, clean and lovely. We wanted a hotel, that was french in style, but still moderen and clean. This was manifique!! We Will definitly visit again!

Such a nice hotel - would definitely come back

This hotel and the surrounding neighborhood were some of our top highlights of our Paris visit. We loved walking around the neighborhood, choosing between the many cafes, and had delicious macarons. The market the next block over was great for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a great 4 days here. The hotel and its rooms are not massive but very well maintained and comfortable. All the staff we met were all very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. There is a small Spa with a flotation pool and sauna that we used for a 45 minute session that we found very relaxing and helped us recover from a long day of walking around Paris. There is a small room at the front on the ground floor that doubles both as the area for the breakfast buffet with a mix of breads, pastries, cereal etc. and in the evening this doubles as a small Cocktail bar. The range of drinks is fairly limited but my wife enjoyed working through a small selection of the cocktails available! Whilst the location is little out of central Paris it is only a 100 metres or so from a Metro station with a link to 3 of the main lines so getting around is easy. All in all we would happily return to this hotel

We just returned from a short visit in Paris to celebrate our anniversary, and stayed at Le Petit Beaumarchais Hotel. We will definitely plan to stay here again on future trips. The location of the hotel is great. Steps from the Bastille Metro, and walkable to most parts of the center city. On Sundays there is a beautiful farmers market around the corner from the hotel selling fruits and vegetables, pastries, breads, cheeses, and prepared food. The staff were warm and friendly, and offered several recommendations of places to eat. We stayed in a superior double room. The decor was modern, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower great. Will definitely recommend the hotel to friends traveling to Paris.

Nice hotel, great location, just steps from Metro, buses, cafes, restaurants, Place des Vosges, the opera, etc etc. Room was smallish, but that's Paris. Staff was very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. Other than the room size, everything else is highly recommendable. Would definitely stay at Le Petit Beaumarchais again.

The hotel decor and the personel ensure a super cosy atmosphere and everything is run top professional - We had a wonderful stay.

We travelled from South Africa for a short stay so that my wife could run the Paris Marathon. The hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. Great location, genuine and sincere hospitality and friendly faces. I really enjoyed the decor, especially the communal area at entrance & downstairs spa. Made you feel part of a community rather than a place to sleep. Brilliantly positioned. I can highly recommend a cocktail made by Pedro in the evening. The man is a Magician and very welcoming. A big thank you to everyone that looked after us and made it homely. I will definitely stay here when in the city again. Merci beaucoup!

Chose this hotel as easy walk from Gare du Lyon and near the Marais. Staff were very friendly and hotel looks great. Especial mention to the cocktails in the bar which were great. But it's on a busy road so the rooms are very well sealed against the noise. This is good but we stayed in March and the air-conditioning was switched off (we checked with the front desk and there was nothing they could do about it). This meant that the room was too airless and warm so we had to sleep with the windows open then wake up in the early morning as the traffic started getting bad and close them. Not an issue when they have the air-conditioning switched on - but not what we would expect from a hotel of this quality and price.

Loved staying here. The location is really great - just beside Bastille Metro station. There's a lovely market right outside the hotel door at weekends. Found the staff to be extremely friendly and welcoming and the rooms were nice. The spa was nice and the massage was exceptional. Would definitely stay here again!
